Day #129 10/16/11: Little Tortilla Girl…

A picture I took of my niece after she had eaten almost a half of a tortilla. The day was basically me sitting around all day and watching football with my brother as I was supposed to go to the Raiders/ Browns game. My brother was unable to find a baby sitter for my niece but that was fine because I haven’t sat around all day and watched football in 4 years. I remember this day my brother and I were waiting outside for my mom and a cop stopped by to ask us what was going on as my brother made the mistake of parking on the less than fortunate side of Palo Alto. I found it pretty silly that this was going on and I couldn’t help but wonder if they had nothing better to do. I find that sometimes there is a problem in society if we have to be subject to lookups on backgrounds and such. I believe the majority of society does nothing over the top that breaks laws and simply put it is just a way to feel oppressed. Otherwise, a day of doing…nothing.

Day #128 10/15/11: Kid N’ Play…

Quick recap of the day:

Took this pic at 1 in the morning

Had some Chavez  Taquiera with my dad

Watched the awesome Orton/ Christian match that I had heard about for months back in May on PPV

Had a fun and uneventful time messing around with my co-worker Silas (cool guy though)

Oh, and I met a kid who was younger than me managing at the Big Red Machine

Day #127 10/14/11: The new blood vs. the millonaires club Big red machine style…

I remember ten years ago in the dying days of WCW there was a feud between the new blood and the rich guys that made the most money. Now, for me it made no sense at the time as I was a fan and not an observer of the content. Now, looking back almost ten years later, I see how the new blood has a problem of mixing it up with the Millionaires club as we folks that have been at Big Red for a while back our words up with our workrate and the new ones probably don’t do much except complain about how they are not paid enough and they don’t get enough flexibility. My thing is: deal with it. The reason I say this is because I worked this day and I saw many of the new people that we have complaining about how they don’t have much time to get there work done but it can be done if we stop complaining that we can’t. I do my best and to make sure that I fit all of my work in one precise part. I cleaned up quite a bit this day and afterwords my mom decided that she wanted to go out somewhere so after we had taken care of our small journey, we hit up Yogurtland and before that I took this picture of my old stop light where I would go home after coming back from Mountain View or Palo Alto. A good day where I revisited an old place and a new place as well.

Day #126 10/13/11: Tale of two dogs…

My dog as I was getting ready for work at 6 in the morning and the best way to wake up is having an apple and some water handy as this stimulates your brain and cleans your system in the morning. I haven’t been tired from having water and apples in the morning and I usually don’t feel tired till I get home. The rest of the day (besides work which was very boring) my brother came over and he slept most of the day while my niece continued talking and wanted to sleep on grass. She keeps saying nice, what’s that, and fist pump. The second dog is a pic of the dog that’s next to my Tv and after I did take this picture my brother and I watched wrestling and enjoyed it very much.

Day #124 10/11/11: School’s for punks…

Took a few pictures here at Mission to look at the landscape and my future for the next year or so as I have to finish my journey at community college here. It looks like a nice place on the outside but I’m not too sure about the inside yet. All I know is that it will be interesting to see where Mission college takes me for the next year or so and I hope to be at San Jose state and some other local college soon. I applied for San Jose State this day for next fall and I will be looking into apply to 2 more colleges within the next month and I don’t want to take my chances by just sticking with San Jose State. I hung with my buddy Rick as we had quite a bit to talk about all ranging from serious to funny and sometimes that conversation does never get old. I also hung out with my family as my niece came over and caused more havoc as she talks much more now than she did before. Myself and my mom made chicken lasgana which is very easy to make but it is still a difficult process. I had fun this day as my preparing for school has just begun.

Day #123 10/10/11: They… who’s they anyway?

A crazy, fun filled day where the main story was that our truck for the Big Red Machine had arrived late and me and one of buddies at work got stuck doing it and we still had a shit ton of stuff of to do. It was crazy as to how we had to do so much work and people that had worked before us get stuck with less and less. I find it to be unfair yet we are paying for something that is our duty and it is our job as well. I had fun working with my friend today as we discussed the idea of a team that travels and they forget so much of what it’s like to play in the first place. I also remembered that this was the one year anniversary of the famous “they” storyline in TNA, now known as Impact Wrestling. Even though wrestling gets a bit silly sometimes, I find entertaining and wholesome to me as a person. This one led to a year long story arc that is almost ending and I have the enjoyed the ride throughout as I joke around a lot with my brother about it. I took this picture to remind me of the times that I used to drink coffee before I started having health issues and needless to say, it’s something that I can’t take back but I enjoyed it.

Day #122 10/9/11: Victory 2011…

I woke up and realized that the I had woken up late for the Raider game but I saw once I had woken up the game wasn’t that far in progress and the game was 10 minutes in (Personal funny author’s note: What’s up with a quarter of football taking so long anyway?). I was happy that they were  struggling and fighting the whole game as they must have wanted to win one for the legendary Al Davis who had just passed . The game was good through quarters 1-4 and I was so excited for the fact that they did it on all three sides of the ball whether it was defense, offense, and special teams. In the end, the Raiders came back from a 14-12 halftime deficit and they marked this one as a classic and a real fun game for all. Today was also my dad’s birthday so I chatted with him for a bit about what he wanted and I usually just buy him a CD and boy did I find him a good one. Nothing much else to the day except for that at work there were some funny incidents that happened that had me wondering otherwise.

Day #120 10/7/11: Is it really haunted?…

I had heard growing up that this Toys R Us in Sunnyvale is haunted and I have seen all the specials which is interesting by my accounts. Before this, I had worked a 7 hour shift which was a blast due to me communicating with a buddy of mine about some Spanish words translating to English and vice-versa. I also looked at the vast amount of interesting people that we have hired at the Big Red Machine and needless to say, it hardly ever changes. It was great to get to also talking to some co-workers about various issues and some inside jokes that we have made there. After work, I went to my favorite pastime the gym and worked there less than 24 hours after I had gone there and it was basically like going there twice in one day. It was a good workout and an even better day.
