Day #41 7/19/11: Stories of a 3 day downfall pt.1…

The day of tuesday the 19th of July started off well with me taking my dog walking and it was a beautiful day to say the least as I was excited to once again hang out with Ricky as we headed out to De Anza to register for my math class as my time was at 2 that day and all was well. I was pretty happy to see that Borders was closing and maybe I could get some books but they had not yet started going for discount prices. Everything was going well as me and Ricky had a good discussion on an old friend who had suddenly reemerged in my life and he gave me advice on how to handle the situation. Needless to say I listened as I took all this information in as I felt everything was going to go well. But, then I went to go pick up my mom at her job and she had this computer but the only problem was that when we got home the tower was blown up and the harddrive would not turn on so my brother had this great idea of trying to replace the current one into the new one. That left me with no computer for charging my IPOD which was my last source of some technology. The rest of the night I watched a new episode of Weeds and I also waited for another book to finish… But the chaos doesn’t end there. Did I mention my PS3 is done too? Piece of crap.

Day #40 7/18/11: The champ is in a cool spell…

This is a picture I took the day after CM Punk had won the title and yes almost like every wrestling fan out there it feels good to have wrestling be back for at least a little bit. The night before I got home from the gym and looked for it immediately on youtube and there it was and boy was it amazing. It had a hot crowd, psychology, storytelling, suspense, and just anything else you could ask for. I could barely speak before the responses were on the ‘net praising the show known as Money in the bank and I hope to see it down the line as that was only one of the matches. The rest of the day was pretty fun as well as I finally got to talking with my friend from work who, from talking with her has some interesting perspectives on life. She likes to write, read, listens to whatever kind of music she feels like, and here she is taking flack from her bosses just because she missed one day which had me pretty upset as well because I have told her and some other co-workers that “One person makes a difference but you are always replaceable”. We had a pretty amazing chat just about everything and I felt pretty relieved that there was someone like her that has some good views on life. I felt good after talking to her and I didn’t go away thinking “oh man she likes me man” because lets face it girls are much more direct than guys would be so in this case I just leave it as being a big brother- sister relationship where we share anything we may have on our mind whether it be positive or negative.

Day #39 7/17/11: This is America we jack up prices too…

I remember this day as being the day that the A’s suddenly out of the grace of out God exploded for 9 runs against the Angels and 7 of those were in the 1st inning! I saw this netflix envelope to remind me that America loves consumerism and we also like our baseball games to be high scoring but me being the classic baseball guy loves a pitching duel as well. I had a pretty strange day at work as I saw my friend who had been sick as she looked sad after talking to our boss about some issues we have been having lately at work but I said we must march on. CM Punk also won the title so hurray!

Day #38 7/16/11: We need bodies…

The significance of this picture was just a reflection of the day and how chaotic it was as I ended up giving my dog a bath after she rolled around in some dog poop which was unfortunately black which really left a stench in the car. I also ended up watching some wrestling with my dad as we continued to see the Orton/Christian saga unfold on Smackdown. As I headed to work, I was hoping to work with my friend at work but she ended up calling in sick. Oh well, I said but some kid ended up replacing her who wasn’t half bad as he had a lot of respect for what we did and I can see that he has a good head on his shoulders. The night ended well as I hung out with an old friend who I respect so much and I will miss him when he leaves this weekend.

Day #37 7/15/11: A look back…

This day was pretty awesome as I hung out with my friend Ricky who I hadn’t seen in over a month as he had been busy with school and his finishing up his math and English. I was pretty excited that we connected and we pretty much left off where we had the last time. We talked about narcissists and what they are about. I found it pretty interesting that these people do exist and I got to thinking that after we had that conversation that maybe you are raised a certain way so you are labeled as having that type of “ego”. Nonetheless, besides talking about our narcissists ideas, we had a pretty fun time chatting about life in general. The reason I took this picture was because that day I really did do some wonders as I worked pretty hard at work and I also ended up having a blast talking to a few friends at work as well. A great day!

Day # 36 7/14/11: That two year experience…

This wasn’t much of a surprise of a day except for the fact that my dad wanted me to go somewhere with him and we also ended up going to coscto with my dad as most of my dad’s fixtures are always on protecting his family. I was going to hang out with one of my buddies but we decided to call off for one more day but I did end up getting my Chris Jericho book in the mail for under 10 bucks which isn’t a bad deal at all, not a bad day at work either, cheers!

Day #35 7/13/11: Afternoon at the movies…

After almost a year, I used my free movie pass to go and see Thor which I had heard was pretty decent and I thought “what better way to spend two hours” than watching a movie with a superhero. Usually, superhero movies are boring and repetitive but I was actually entertained by this one as it had a decent story and solid characters. Besides that, I was surprised that Bluelight cinema is fairly small and not that packed as I got to thinking that if I want to see a movie that’s been out for a while for 5 bucks then why not come here? It was a worthwhile spent afternoon as I cooked with my mom and I also spent some time continuing to finish my Enneagram book which is more or less a solid book so far and I’d like to dwell into some other potential books about it. I’m not an expert on it but I’d like to try my hand at it so I can see what basic personality each person may have. I also took my mom driving to mission college as she did a few laps around the parking lot as I saw some baseball/softball games going on and we also took my dog walking to the Lakewood park by my friend’s house. Great day indeed!

Day #34 7/12/11: Restaurant wars and rented cars…

This day we celebrated my mom’s birthday which took place the day before as we took her out to eat and we decided on Chili’s as we really couldn’t decide what was cheaper as almost all the restaurants I’ve been to in the last 5 years are almost always the same price. My niece wanted a balloon and she got it here as we enjoyed our delicious food and she was also a handful at home and at the restaurant. My brother and I also went deep into San Jose to go and pick up his rented car as this seemed like a journey as we couldn’t find the street. I was also surprised at how hidden the rental place was and we stayed there until they were ready to give us a rental car. Otherwise, a very relaxing day.

Day #33 7/11/11: I’m going to go to all the 7/11’s and buy 10 slurpees…

You’d think that me taking a bus would not have humbled me and to be quite frank it did for a long time. I took this bus for almost a week in the middle of may and it was a good experience as I looked forward to getting home and another day was when me and my friend from class did our survey together. This was also 7/11 day as some guy pointed out at work we should go out and get some free slurpees which by all accounts got disgusting for me in 8th grade. Not much to the day but I did find out that my friend at work is sort of a perfectionist type that need to finish one task completely before he moves on to the next one as he spent a good chunk of time working on a task that should have only taken him 3 hours max but it took him almost 5. Otherwise, a decent day.

Day #32 7/10/11: Over the limit…

I took this picture over the bridge that oversees 101 by fair oaks in Sunnyvale and I have to say it’s pretty cool to see all the cars passing and you start to wonder where they may be going. Nothing much to the day except for a lot of hard work and taking my dog to this epic bridge which took us 30+ minutes.
