There’s nothing worse…

Than finding out a member of your family has been suspended from their job because some higher ups felt that they didn’t get serviced correctly from this person. This person is my dad and I just found this out this morning which is sad to hear because he has put all his blood, sweat, and tears into the place where he works. His job is to be a bartender at the famous Japanese restaurant, Benihana, and he has worked there for over twenty years. It pisses me off that there are people that are rich and snobby that feel that they can dangle someone’s job in front of them because they weren’t given something correctly or that they have the right to something. My response: never take anybody’s word for granted because they can be lying straight to your face because all these people that have it made in the world care about nothing but themselves. My dad had to find out the hard way and I will try everything to make sure that he is treated respectfully everywhere he goes. We may have our disagreements but there are times when I wish I was more like my dad because no one gives more than he does. For example, this past January and March he flew out all the way to Ciudad Juarez to pick up his parents so they can experience the United States for a few months. His brothers didn’t help him out that much yet he was willing to spend his money to go alone but his brothers were too busy to even go along with him. He’s the oldest but the least his brothers could have done is at least gone with him but it seemed as if all they care about is if their parents get here. At the end of the day, my dad’s efforts didn’t matter because my grand almost baby my uncles to no end yet they hardly ever consider my dad. I respected my dad for doing that because he showed me in that time that he was willing to be loyal to the cause of taking care of his parents and he also treats others better than he does himself. I found out this morning that he was suspended from his job which at first made me sad then angry but I figured that bad things happen to good people because they are the most scrutinized for doing the right thing. He’s a trooper as people say and hopefully good things come to him in the future.
