Day #67 8/14/11: The last hurrah…

I don’t say this often but sometimes there are those days where you wish you hadn’t predicted it ending so suddenly. I took this picture to remind me of the good old days of when I would go out with friends and just talk about life, sports, work, and many other things. The same night I hung out with my old friends from work and I knew that night that one era had ended and another one had already begun. I had gone from eating out, spending money anxiously not wanting to look less fortunate in the eyes of my friends, and being this guy who hung around outside of work to something simple. Now, I either go home or I go the gym after work where my money is well spent. I rarely go out after work as it is a little more friendly on the wallet but I enjoy that sheer enjoyment of enjoying life and paying my dues. Thank you Carrows for the great memories I’ll never forget you.

Day #48 7/26/11: The road takes you places…

The day was awesome as I ended up taking care of my dog as she seems a bit sore on the neck part. My brother and I ended up watching a roundtable on the legendary wrestling faction the NWO. I sat with my brother discussing some news in the wrestling world and we also talked some other stuff as well. Sitting there, I realized that my brother has some great fortunes ahead of him and he doesn’t take advantage of them but that’s him. After that, and his daughter going crazy in the house, we parted as I had some stuff to take care of and I went to pick up my mom closer to home as she had some stomachache and I obliged. We also went to buy food and I told my mom about some potential solutions with my school situation as well. It went well and we sat at home with my niece and my brother at hand. My dog also continued hurting from her neck but she was all right after giving her a bit of a massage. As the night went on, I was told by my brother that he was going to our friend’s house to play call of duty and this is me on the day to go catch up with my brother. We also picked up one of our other buddies and it was cool seeing that guy because he’s a pretty cool guy in terms of knowing his sports stuff. I sat there talking at our friend’s house to my buddy’s girlfriend as she seems a bit strange but all she is doing is being cordial. As the picture symbolizes the road takes you places and it did this night as we all did our thing as I counted some numbers in my head for my IPOD touch music on some notebook paper.
