Day #272 3/7/12: Full moon…
Day #258 2/22/12: That day that we never know when it comes…
Ash Wednesday at a church in Sunnyvale. I have had many discussions with people about Religion and I sincerely do not have an answer about which religions are right and which ones are “right” in their own world. I am not a practicing Catholic but it is something that I have grown up with and I have no objections to believing in something that makes things happen. I really have no proof of how certain images in Catholic churches came about but I also have no proof to say that they aren’t true. All I know is that religion is something that can be a hot topic amongst people and there has always been that saying that there are two things that you never bring up at a party: religion and politics.
Day #157 11/13/11: The last stand…
Nothing too eventful to the day except the fact that I finished up two of the books that I had which had to do with Math and resumes. I took this picture to remind myself that on Sundays families usually go off and go to church. I am not usually of this train of thought to go and I believe in a higher power but I don’t think you should pump money into religion as it should welcome all. At the end of the night it was pretty calm at the big red machine as I had a good chat with my buddy from the Marines and we started planning something within the next week for a pal that is leaving the Machine soon.
Day #30 7/8/11: Play the game the same…
Not much to say about the day but I had a very good conversation with my friend at work about certain issues that we see in the world (religion, people’s personality, work, and relationships too). I told him that it’ s all about what you believe and you shouldn’t let others influence what you believe. I was most intrigued by our conversation on religion and people’s personality as I told him about reading of the Enneagram book and he was interested to hear about it as he sees it as something where we have a basic personality set into us from birth and we grow up having that. He also talked about his recent inclusion into a new religion that he has gotten into in the last year or so and it sounded good for him as he was searching for some sort of answer. The day was good to me as I had Panda Express once more as it keeps getting a bit better and I had fun at home too.
