A picture before my weekly Tuesday night class with my stats teacher and some of his cool traits when teaching. I find it cool he is able to explain things and point out some flaws in the system that exists within stats (i.e. regression squares?!). I remember this day I picked up a good friend from the airport and then we decided that we would do something afterward. A fun day also at the movies watching the film Argo which I highly recommend.

Day #250 2/14/12: We do this on a loving day…
Day #68 8/15/11: Transition…
It was a day of transition as I went to Mission to make sure my pre-req was passed for the spring session and I met up with my good friend Ricky as we discussed life, complications, people we’ve encountered in life, and our future plans. In the wee hours of the morning, I of course said goodbye to my friend Gump and I reminded myself that it was good that I said goodbye to him as I pride myself by not being on Facebook. In the afternoon, I went to grab some food for me and my mom at Chavez Supermarket as she looked exhausted from work and I of course took the initiative to make sure we were well fed. That night from work went by very fast as I had a short shift and I just sort of breezed by it as I knew it wasn’t that big of a deal anyway. All in all, a day of change and quickness.
Day #47 7/25/11: Triumph for a moment…

I finally headed to De Anza to get my answer on taking my math class and this time the wait wasn’t as long as I waited for less than an hour and the counselor was very cordial and she gave me the run down on what I should do as the end seemed in sight. I felt proud on what she told me the deal was at that time and she also suggested that I contact the instructor to my class that I want to apply for as I would potentially be missing the first week and it would be possible to at least give it a shot. The most I could end up doing was signing up for Mission College and possibly looking into contacting the instructor to see if he would let me do the actions that I have spoken of. This picture suggests when I was studying for my art final with my friend and sitting here taking this picture gave me flashbacks to that time and it felt good at that moment to think back.
Otherwise a quick recap of the day:
Triumphed for once at De Anza
Talked to my mom about what was up with my current situation.
Made some lunch for the day and also took something to work as well.
Had a great day with an old friend of mine at work
Otherwise a great day for conversation too!
Day #35 7/13/11: Afternoon at the movies…
After almost a year, I used my free movie pass to go and see Thor which I had heard was pretty decent and I thought “what better way to spend two hours” than watching a movie with a superhero. Usually, superhero movies are boring and repetitive but I was actually entertained by this one as it had a decent story and solid characters. Besides that, I was surprised that Bluelight cinema is fairly small and not that packed as I got to thinking that if I want to see a movie that’s been out for a while for 5 bucks then why not come here? It was a worthwhile spent afternoon as I cooked with my mom and I also spent some time continuing to finish my Enneagram book which is more or less a solid book so far and I’d like to dwell into some other potential books about it. I’m not an expert on it but I’d like to try my hand at it so I can see what basic personality each person may have. I also took my mom driving to mission college as she did a few laps around the parking lot as I saw some baseball/softball games going on and we also took my dog walking to the Lakewood park by my friend’s house. Great day indeed!
