I started reading Mick Foley’s third book called the “Hardcore Diaries” which is a very interesting dwelling into his journey back into wrestling. Sometimes the journey is the fun part as we hardly ever look back at the aches and pains that brought us to the dance. I also continued/started my last reading of some math that I need a refresher of in terms of getting ready for my math class. The night ended with me smelling like rotten milk and also hearing a funny story from a co-worker.

Day #82 8/29/11: Please do get to know other family too!…

Getting up at 7 wasn’t a good idea because the sun has not risen yet in Mexico at this time and guess what we didn’t leave until 9 in the morning. What I mean is that my mom and her sisters wanted to go see there aunts and the rest of her family. But, seeing as how the Mexican stereotype is getting to places late, we didn’t get there till 1 in the pueblo of Las Peinas. This is where on the trip that I got even deeper into Foley’s book and I realized how much of a sacrifice wrestlers make. With the exception of older Jose, we all went to this journey and it was really worth it to say the least. I almost got about halfway while reading the book and I ended meeting one of my great aunts from my grandpa’s side and then one of my aunt’s from my grandpa’s side and I would say that the one from my grandpa’s side was much more nicer but the other one had her moments too. I noticed on our way to El Valle that there is much more to Zacatecas and it can only be taken one way. Once we got to El Valle, otherwise known as Valparaiso, we met my other mom’s aunt and she was very courteous and she even made us some tortillas from hand. I sat there thinking, I’m sitting here because I deserve to be here and there is so much to be thankful for, and I ended the night watching WWE Raw which is actually interesting because the ladies and everybody else was having a grand old time outside while I joyed in the fact that I was watching wrestling for the first time in months without time restraints. Awesome day.
Day #1 6/9./11: 364 to go….

You ever think about what a library has become? I used to go there a lot when I was younger but I recently decided to give it another try for my POLI sci final because we needed one written source for our environmental project. I registered the day before for a card and I finally got to snooping around for books, movies, and music. I was lucky enough to find Mick Foley’s second book and also a book on global warming which is what my paper is on. I was so to myself that I forgot that many times before I needed someone or something to keep me motivated to go do an activity or find a hobby and this is one of my hobbies that I forgot that I had. I would go every week to the Sunnyvale public library in my middle school days and I would mostly browse on the net but here I was just looking for books in what interested me. I was happy and in a place where I knew that I had to reconnect with. The rest of the day was filled with taking care of my niece when she came over later in the day and also keep my brother talking as he rarely ever has something to say as I have to keep him talking. I went to work and enjoyed my work day with someone that I thought was just a complete snob but that has changed a bit. Anyway, hopefully other people are keeping track of their days and weeks because they come down a lot faster now…
