If I would have known that I would be here a year before, I probably would have shook my head and put my head down. But this Time around I had to change my mindset. I took some time off from school and it was worth it to not have to think for 3 months. I did some reflection for myself and for others. I had a lot of people help me (friends and family especially) and I can’t ask for much more besides that. Thanks to everybody that was there and was able to help. (author’s note: Stats final was difficult but I passed with a B and I couldn’t be prouder of myself).

Day #80 12/10/12: Gearing up for a fight of my life…
Day #8 9/26/12: The dude that is behind you…
I remember this day talking with my buddy about the baseball playoffs and it was a very hot day as we had a lot to say. We talked about life, it’s up’s and it’s downs, and all in between. I also began studying for a very important math test that I had the next week as I was mentally prepared for this one. The most important thing of the day was seeing a family member that I hadn’t seen for a long time and this always welcome. (Author’s note: We saw this guy at Mondo Burrito that my friend had seen before and he just happened to be a little afraid of talking to him but those situations make life fun!).
Day #6 9/24/12: Study study…
School is one of the things I enjoy in life but when it comes to math I am horrible. If you put me in a math contest I would probably fail but I try my best at it. Right now I am retaking Stats and I have to say this time around it is much more easier to understand because of the 16 week pace as opposed to the 6 week format. Learning is very important as I hope to be at least some sort of master of it in the very near future…
Day #286 3/21/12: It’s over…
Day #275 3/10/12: Carne Asada fries…
I never realized these fries were so awesome and I had them in the afternoon. The rest of the afternoon I started studying for my math test that was the next Wednesday and I knew I had to do well in order for my grade to be well off enough till the next quiz or test. Math is a very interesting subject but when it comes to taking tests on it I have to be very detailed when it comes to studying because you forget something during the test and you are done for.
Day #256 2/20/12: It could and will get easier…
A day spent watching the rest of some cartoons and doing some math homework which, little by little, is getting easier as I am not that great at factoring, linear equations, and word problems. But, I see that we are working on graphing, inequalities, binomials, and some other subjects which seem a bit easier to me. What a day at night and in the day.
Day #243 2/7/12: The process…
A funny day where my brother ended up building this TV stand and I listened to a very insightful interview with former wrestler Zach Gowen. This was when I was working on some math homework which I am glad is starting with subjects that I am not too good at and I saw the rest of the subjects and saw that it will not be that challenging but still worth a try. A good day indeed.
Day #242 2/6/12: 5 hours yeah right pal…
Day #91 9/7/11: Homegrown talent for college…
The day was wonderful, wonderful as I ended up buying my battery very early in the morning with my dad and I headed back home so one of my dad’s friends could install the battery. Once we did that my mom had said the day before that she wanted to make tamales and she bought everything she needed for just that. I also ended up buying my dog some diapers as she is in heat right now so she doesn’t have to spread blood everywhere. Once we got back I had forgotten that I was going to hang out with my friend so at around 3 we did just that. I thank this friend this day for helping me out with the fact that I could finish with a bachelor’s in psychology in the next 2-3 years if I set my mind to it. He showed some cool websites to me such as CSU Mentor, Assist.Org, and some other really cool options. We also discussed the potential future plans of me working on my math skills and as well as possibly one day working at a different job soon. We took a tour of Mission college and it was pretty cool to see some of the sights at the college and I can’t wait to really get into there to learn some math. At the end of the night, my mom and some of her family members were making tamales and I just ate them which wasn’t a bad idea anyway. Good day!
