Day #132 10/19/11: Never again…

A lot of great memories here as this was taken in the parking lot of the Sunnyvale Public library as I took this after I went to my brother’s house. After I got home, I read my math book a little bit more and I finally was able to log into MYSJSU which took a good 6 business days. I’m hoping I am able to get into here or CSU East bay as I only have 5 more classes to finish which shouldn’t be hard but they aren’t easy either so I’m getting myself ready for this next year which is going to be intense. I took this picture to remind that I will never go back here again as I went many times when I was younger and they never will return but it is good to be reminded of all those great times. I also went to take a walk from Tasman all the way to Santa Clara as my mom had a dentist appointment going on at the time which is good for my health anytime. Otherwise, a short day that went by fast.

Day #110 9/27/11: Moneyball is a bunch of garbage…no just kidding…

Taken the day before this great baseball season ended, I was watching this special on the movie Moneyball and I am hearing that the movie is great. The topics varied about the movie, sports, actor’s thoughts on the sport of baseball, what’s it like to be translating books to film, the topic of the genius Billy Beane, and what it’s like when baseball capital hooks up the actual capital. I also went to the library for a few hours this day as I rode in my dad’s car this day as the tail light was knocked out but I was driving it in the day thankfully. I also bought my family some food as we hooked up at night with my niece, myself, my brother, my dad, and mom as we all shared some cheap hamburgers from Carl JR’s as we all joyed in my niece’s crazy antics in the garage and in the living room. A great day!

Day #42 7/20/11: Stories of a 3 day downfall pt.2…

Yeah, I went on another Wednesday escapade to the movies but the day turned into weirdness as I went to the library as I couldn’t find parking at the library and I couldn’t find it till I got underground part. But, getting there I felt strange being there knowing that I had a time limit as my mom wanted me to pick her up by Kiely and Homestead but I misread that I had not said at Homestead and instead she got off on stevens creek. I was upset that once I got home my brother told me that the internet charging cable was no good and it could set off a fire on the carpet as it was now exposed which we couldn’t risk. I sat there thinking now I really have no technology which sucked since my IPOD was almost out of battery. So, going to see Transformers was all shits and giggles and it was a silver lining nonetheless as I sat there thinking… How could it get any worse? I fell asleep early as the day was exhausting. Only a few more challenges laid ahead…

Day #22 6/30/11: The wonderful wonderful tour of carts…

Pretty fun filled day as I got to start the day off by walking my dog for a pretty lengthy walk and I also informed my dad that I had to go to the library so I could drop my books off including the excellent book Foley is Good. I finished it two nights before and now I am even more curious as to how much wrestling has changed with me hopefully purchasing Chris Jericho’s latest book Undisputed soon. We headed out to sell our recycled bottles first though and we got some pretty good change for that and eventually we headed to the library where I picked up a book that I’m interested in that has to do with psychology and the enneagram. I was excited because I also picked up cd’s by Jay-Z and the famous rock band R.E.M to complete my 2000th song on my IPOD and I can only hope that it all sounds good when I try to get through all my songs on the IPOD. After that we headed out to Costco where we bought food and drinks for the house and I was surprised at how busy it was as the lines were pretty busy for a Thursday and I took this picture to represent just how much of a business food brings in. The rest of the day I was preparing for work and also started reading my book as well. Work wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad either as I talked with some old friends

Day #1 6/9./11: 364 to go….

Walk that aisle!

You ever think about what a library has become? I used to go there a lot when I was younger but I recently decided to give it another try for my POLI sci final because we needed one written source for our environmental project. I registered the day before for a card and I finally got to snooping around for books, movies, and music. I was lucky enough to find Mick Foley’s second book and also a book on  global warming which is what my paper is on. I was so to myself that I forgot that many times before I needed someone or something to keep me motivated to go do an activity or find a hobby and this is one of my hobbies that I forgot that I had. I would go every week to the Sunnyvale public library in my middle school days and I would mostly browse on the net but here I was just looking for books in what interested me. I was happy and in a place where I knew that I had to reconnect with. The rest of the day was filled with taking care of my niece when she came over later in the day and also keep my brother talking as he rarely ever has something to say as I have to keep him talking. I went to work and enjoyed my work day with someone that I thought was just a complete snob but that has changed a bit. Anyway, hopefully other people are keeping track of their days and weeks because they come down a lot faster now…
