At Benihana with my family as the night was fun as everyone ended up full but I was not however and the food was still very delicious. Considering that me and my family paid a little bit less since my dad works there, it was very much worth it in the end.

Day #239 2/3/12: This place is a garage…
Day #237 2/1/12: Good meat…
Day #229 1/24/12: You got got…
A funny day started at 9 in the morning where my brother and I finally took his car with him to Oakridge in San Jose and boy was that a journey going back and forth between many places. After that we did the infamous cell phone trade in which it netted us 4 bucks believe it or not. I also did some much needed r&r after a long night the previous night at the big red machine and while that happened my mom helped me cooked some breaded chicken and some fajitas.
Day #223 1/18/12: 7 missed calls…
A while ago I went here with two of my co-workers and it was almost two years ago that I came here. I remember the night vividly as I was having a falling out with my friend and someone I considered to be my best friend for that time. I have grown accustomed to growing up in whatever time it may be whether it be in your teens, late teens, or even in my 20’s and people changing while you as a person stay, more or less, the same. I was taken aback by the fact that he called me 7 times and I didn’t answer once as I saw that my other co-worker was very drunk and he kept saying that they would laugh at him if he was to show up at the denny’s that we were going to that night. I made the conscious decision to take him to get some food and not embarrass him that night. Once I got on the road I called him and he told me F*** you which surprised me very much and that was the end of the night. Apparently that was a test according to him and I decided it was best to break it off with the guy gradually before things had gotten worse than they were already. Otherwise, the day was filled with reflection and fun times with a friend I hadn’t seen in a while.
Day #168 11/24/11: Forget Turkey…
Thanksgiving is a holiday where family gathers together and my family got together with my aunt’s family to have the following: Nachos, Lasagna, Tacos, Ceviche, Ribs, and Pumpkin Pie. Not your traditional thanksgiving dinner but good enough for us. It was good seeing everyone and the only bad part of the day was I was very sick for one day and it got worse later that night as I even considered calling in sick for Black Friday but that sounded like a very bad idea. Anyway, I tried staying away from my family as I didn’t want to get them sick and get myself sicker.
Day #118 10/5/11: I’ve really been gone if that happens…
Sometimes you have those days that could have been different and this was strangely one of those days. I had slept pretty much a whole 8 hours after watching Pineapple Express which was a very funny movie for it’s wittiness and it’s charm to draw casual viewers and stoners alike. I wasn’t up for challenge to get up early so I figured my dad wouldn’t come and wake me. But, he asked me to come with him for a follow up appointment he had at the hospital. I came wondering if something would change, if at all, if I came with him and in fact it did. That day, a common man killed 3 people at a factory in Cupertino and many schools including my former high school(s) Homestead High and Cupertino were either on lockdown or told parents to keep their kids at home. I was at the hospital and I didn’t think nothing other than the fact that I was sharing stories with my dad about Mexico and it still fascinates me that he and I can have, among many things, a strong bond over something so small yet powerful. I was reading my book about happiness while this man hunt was going on and I wouldn’t know about it till later that evening. The wait was around two hours so as I went to pay my dad’s bill he had his appointment and after that 15 minute period we headed over to his friend’s restaurant/ taquiera to have food as we hadn’t eaten that whole day. He sat down and talked to his friend while I just listened to the music and enjoyed the food we had. Later on that day, I was reminded that I was going to hang out with my buddy Ricky and we had a lot to share that night as some very good baseball had been going on and we also discussed some future plans for the both of us. The most interesting part was talking about a co-worker he has that claims he needs diving classes as he wants to be in the FBI and he also wants to go to the Nation’s capital in order to take intelligence classes. I was laughing about it but I was also thinking this guy has it really bad and I shouldn’t make it so that he is nothing but a comedy bit. We had some In-N-Out Burger and this is where I found out about the man hunt that had taken place and I was curious because of the fact that earlier there was a helicopter in the air which was strange. A very compelling day indeed because of the circumstances and the craziness.
Day #104 9/20/11: Blazing night…
I remember sitting out here with my mom staring at all the airplanes that were heading out of the san jose airport and this day my brother fogged my house. I went to his home and I wasn’t too fond of how his other family treated my dog nor have I ever been. I do my best to defend her and the main problem with people that I have seen in walks of life is letting themselves be insulted and being put down. This is my dog and if she has fleas then oh well, what do you expect with a dog that is very active and enjoys being outside playing with my niece or with her toys. I check her quite a bit for fleas nowadays and it is my job as an owner to make sure she has food, water, health, and gets her haircuts. A very good day indeed where I ended up seeing Gran Torino that is a very good movie based on social commentary with ethnicity and as well as religion.
Day #90 9/6/11: Park and battery’s dead?…
I took this picture at the park as my mom, my niece, myself, and my dog headed to the park as we had fun with my dog and my niece went crazy with a huge water fountain as she got down to her diaper which was hilarious in my mind. Once we got back to my car, it for some reason didn’t start and I just moved my negative cable on the battery and it ended up working fine on the way home. Thankfully, it ended up working to get us home as we had nowhere else to go so we just stayed home. The next day proved weird however indeed…
