Day #278 3/13/12: The longest line is still the oldest…
If you look at the Oakland A’s lineup you might think that they look like a bunch of scrubs but you look at the older clubs in the league (Yankees, Red Sox, Angels, and the Rangers) and those are the ones that draw the biggest crowds. It is amazing to me how much it has changed since I started watching baseball in 2003 as the A’s were facing the Red Sox in 2003 in the playoff round to go to the ALDS and since then the baseball capital has beaten the actual intellectual side of baseball. It’s all good they’ll be back one day!
Day #130 10/17/11: Bizzaro World…
A picture I took after me and my buddy had pumpkin pie at Mcdonalds and some lovely wraps at a place named Rojoz. This morning me and buddy had the opportunity to see the film Moneyball which gave both of us a little more insight into what baseball is and how the Oakland A’s won 20 games in a row. The way the conflict was set up was that Billy Beane, played brilliantly by Brad Pitt, was going up against old philosophies and the old ways that the scouts were seeing it. He also had to contend against what analysts told him and as well as the manager Art Howe who had a different way of seeing things as he had a strong disagreement which otherwise added a bit more of drama to the film. I enjoyed the movie and I think other people have as well. After we got all the great stuff and experiences that have happened to us over the week, I went to work expecting a positive energy and a great vibe which I got none of. It was a strange vibe and an even stranger demeanor as I sensed a bit of tension between management and other people as well. I don’t know how to describe it but a great man once told my pal at work that once they see what’s going on they will start changing it from the top down. Otherwise, a day where I didn’t even sweat it and went home after a long day away from home.
Day #115 10/2/11: Secrets of my memory…
I can’t say much about the day except for the fact that my buddy and me had some taco bell by work. The picture was taken to remind me of the great time I had saying goodbye to an old friend I had at work and all the conversations I had with her serve as a reminder that people leave an impact on you and you will never forget them. I worked by myself most of the day which wasn’t bad as there was no pressure and little to compensate for as well. Otherwise a day where the oakland raiders crushed my dreams of being an elite team and the playoffs in baseball started getting interesting.
Day #108 9/24/11: I used to fill it up with 10 bucks…
Taken at Rotten Robbie in San Jose around my lunch time and I was reminded here that we are lucky that we make as much as we do because minimum wage used to be 5.50 and here it is about 8.50 now. There was a lot of great stuff this day as I worked with my pal Silvia this day and I was glad he had gotten over his “I’m in trouble phase” and now we were back to joking around. I’m glad that we ended up meeting because he has treated me like a true friend and I remember he told me one day that we’re lot alike and that was the reason we got along so well. We laughed at some of the oddities that had happened in baseball for the past months and even some strange happenings in football as well. Besides work stuff, I felt some great energy flow that day as well and I felt on a great high that day.
Day #54 8/01/11: A new month…

Quick Recap of the day:
Slept like a baby after the gym
Watched some highlights of July’s top plays
Went to work and found the workload unreasonable
Dealt with more drama as people just couldn’t get there way
Wondered about the night’s Raw
Ate costco pizza for lunch!
Day #39 7/17/11: This is America we jack up prices too…

I remember this day as being the day that the A’s suddenly out of the grace of out God exploded for 9 runs against the Angels and 7 of those were in the 1st inning! I saw this netflix envelope to remind me that America loves consumerism and we also like our baseball games to be high scoring but me being the classic baseball guy loves a pitching duel as well. I had a pretty strange day at work as I saw my friend who had been sick as she looked sad after talking to our boss about some issues we have been having lately at work but I said we must march on. CM Punk also won the title so hurray!
